Celebrity Cruises is returning to Europe, with the second ship of their Edge Series, Celebrity Apex, set to debut in Greece on June 19th.

Celebrity Apex’s summer season will include two itineraries, the Greek Islands with Cyprus and the Greek Islands with Israel. The first itinerary will spread itself across Rhodes, Mykonos, Santorini and along the Southern Coast of Cyprus.

The Israel option will still go through Rhodes and Santorini, before visiting Haifa and Jerusalem. There will be a range of curated tours at various price points at each port of call, including private options for those wishing to remain only with their travelling companions.

After Celebrity Edge gathered acclaim, being named one of TIME Magazine’s ‘World’s Greatest Places’ in 2019, Celebrity Apex follows with more innovation, with a new outward facing design. The Magic Carpet will continue to soar above the sea and a collection of 29 restaurants, bars and lounges will be on board.

Health has been a priority in planning, with all crew and guests above the age of 18 requiring COVID vaccinations and those below 18 will require negative PCR test results. You will also need to meet Greece’s travel requirements, meaning you must present a negative PCR test for COVID-19, performed up to 72 hours before entry to Greece, even if you are a Greek citizen or permanent resident.

“Celebrity Apex is such an exquisite ship and for her to finally begin sailing in the beautiful Aegean, where it all began for our fleet, and after so long away, is incredibly meaningful” said Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, president and CEO of the line.
