Concerts at sea are getting bigger and better.
Late last year Matchbox Twenty performed for thousands of fans on a three day Carnival Inspiration. And earlier this month Tracy Adkins along with other country singers, Montgomery Gentry and Wyonna performed on Norwegian Pearl.
Now, Carnival Cruise Lines has announced it has signed a line-up of stars to perform as part of a new 49-paid-for-onboard concert series.
Among the artists is R&B singer Jennifer Hudson, Australian beauty Olivia-Newtown John and country acts LeAnn Rimes and Lady Antebellum.
Performances commence from April and will take place while a ship is in port at Cozumel Nassau and Catalina Island.
Carnival Cruise Lines vice president of guest operations Mark Tamis said onboard entertainment is a vital part of the line’s overall cruiser’s experience.
“With the Carnival LIVE Concert Series, our guests will enjoy an exclusive performance with one of their favorite artists for an extraordinary value,” he explained.
“Combined with our enhanced house bands fleet wide, this is just another example of the many ways we are constantly looking to create even more fun and memorable moments for our guests.”
