Carnival Cruise Lines has announced it will replace its two-to-11 year old Camp Carnival program with a new marine-themed Camp Ocean.
Similar to Camp Carnival, the program will be divided into three age-related categories, each having its own identity.
The two-to-five age group will be dubbed ‘Penguins’, six-to-eight will play in the ‘Sting Rays’ and nine-to-11 year olds will be the ‘Sharks’.
Together, they will features over 200 new ocean-inspired activities such as educational – Sea Creature Discovery, Marine Life Trivia and Ocean Artifacts Memory Tray; and artistic workshops – Make Your Own Sailboat, Sea Salt Art and Design Your Own Aquarium.
The program will be available on the line’s 24 ‘Fun Ships’, with rollout commencing in May this year aboard Carnival Freedom.
Carnival Magic, Carnival Breeze and Carnival Triumph will receive Camp Ocean later this year.
