Australian cruisers will have the chance to sail and chat with one of the founders of Apple – Steve Wozniak – during Seabourn Odyssey’s Christmas sailing.
Wozniak designed the hardware, circuit board designs and operating system for the Apple I personal computer.
He was also awarded the National Medal of Technology by President Reagan in 1985 and inducted into the Inventors Hall of Fame in 2000 and in 2006.
Boarding the 16-day cruise as a guest speaker, the co-founder (with the late Steve Jobs) of Apple Computer Inc. will share insights from his life and his time launching the billion-dollar company.
“The art of conversation is a key element onboard our ships, and nowhere will the chatter be more ardent than on Seabourn Odyssey when Steve Wozniak starts the dialogue,” Seabourn senior vice president, marketing and sales John Delaney said.
Departing from Sydney on 21 December to Auckland, the 16-day cruise is priced from $8,999 per person and includes a complimentary upgrade to a veranda suite.
