Royal Caribbean announces it’s biggest Aussie season: the summer of 2012-13.
In 2012-13, local waters will be graced with the presence of Royal Caribbean International’s Voyager of the Seas, Radiance of the Seas and Rhapsody of the Seas and the details of the three ships’ itineraries have now been released.
Between the three vessels, Royal Caribbean International will be offering 49 sailings ranging in length from 1 to 18 nights, which, the line claims, is more than any other cruise company in the region.
The star of the season, Voyager of the Seas, which has an ice rink, rock climbing wall, nine hole mini golf course, golf simulator and three swimming pools, is offering 12 cruises.
Highlights of the 3,838-passenger ship’s schedule include two 18-night cruises between Fremantle and Sydney, taking in key cities in southern Australia and New Zealand and the spectacular Milford Sound. The other 10 cruises will also operate from Sydney or Fremantle to other destinations in Australia, the South Pacific and New Zealand.
Radiance of the Seas will sail five cruises to the same regions, ranging in duration from eight to 12 nights, taking in New Caledonia and Vanuatu.
Rhapsody of the Seas will cruise the South Pacific and Queensland from her Sydney homeport.
