Australian Cruise Ships
It's going to be a big season of ships sailing from Australia with Carnival Cruise Lines offering four of its vessels for the 2026/27 season. The family-friendly cruise line will be offering affordable fares on Queensland, South Pacific and New Zealand cruises while Royal Caribbean will be basing Anthem of the Seas and Quantum of the Seas Down Under.
In the premium sector, Celebrity Edge and Celebrity Solstice make a return, with the Solstice fresh from a refurbishment. While Oceania Cruises' Riviera and Vista will also spend some weeks in Australia. At the top end, Silversea's Silver Moon and Silver Dawn, Regent's Seven Seas Explorer and Splendor, and Crystal Serenity offer all-inclusive, butler-service luxury, with Crystal running a standout 15-night Auckland–Brisbane sailing.
Ponant's Le Soleal offers ultra-luxury expedition cruising between Bali, Cairns and Dunedin — and for longer voyages, Norwegian Spirit, Holland America's Noordam, Viking Orion/Venus and Azamara's Pursuit and Quest round out the one-way Sydney–Auckland and extended South Pacific routes.
Celebrity Cruises’ first Edge-Class ship, Celebrity Edge has returned to Australian waters for her summer season. She is the first Edge-class vessel to visit Australia and will be sailing in the region from 2025 to the beginning of 2027.
