APT has unveiled four new India itineraries for 2015, which include sailings on board the small ship, MS Island Sky and the line’s brand new vessel, RV Ganges Voyager.
New itineraries range from 14 to 20 days and take guests to icons of India including the Taj Mahal, the ‘Pink City’ of Jaipur in the north and the spiritual hub of Varanasi.
One standout program is the round trip from Kolkata to Murshidabad on board 56-passenger vessel, RV Ganges Voyager.
The new ship features private ensuites, a sun deck, grand dining room, stylish lounge, spa and gym and flat screen televisions in every cabin.
The tour includes a visit to Mother Theresa’s house, as well as a visit to villages where cruisers can participate in a local game of cricket, shop at shore-side bazaars and see various temples.
Another highlight itinerary is the 20-day Colours of India & Sri Lanka itinerary on board APT Luxury Small Ship, MS Island Sky.
Guests will be taken around the Indian coastline from Chennai and visit Sri Lanka, Tuticorin and Mumbai before travelling to Delhi by land.
