APT will introduce a newly refurbished river ship in Russia next year, which will feature a restaurant by Australian celebrity chef Luke Nguyen.
The 100-cabin MS Anastasia is currently undergoing a multi-million dollar reconstruction and will sail in Russia’s Volga River between Moscow and St Petersburg when she launches on 10 May 2015.
APT says she will be the most luxurious vessel on Russia’s waterways and will be equipped with a sun deck, an outdoor lounge with ice cream bar, heated pool and two hot tubs, a sauna and gym, hair salon and a 24-hour tea and coffee bar.
She will also have five dining venues including Indochine by Luke Nguyen.
The restaurant will seat 50-guests and serve French and Vietnamese fusion dishes.
The ship will also have Zhivago’s Chef’s Table Restaurant; Louisa & Roberto’s Italian Restaurant; Tsar’s Caviar and Champagne Bar; and Café Volga.
General manger marketing and sales Debra Fox said MS Anastasia will bring five star luxury to Russia’s waterways.
“We want the experience on the ship to be as unforgettable as the sights our guests will see on the shore,” she said.
Anastasia’s itineraries include a 14-day Russian Waterways cruise, which will travel from Moscow to St Petersburg via the Volga, Svir and Neva Rivers and is priced from $7,795 per person twin share.
