AmaWaterways is appealing to travelling families, with two new ships featuring the lineâ€™s first connecting staterooms.
AmaSerena and AmaVista will launch in 2015, carrying 164 passengers each.
As well as being the first in the fleet to offer connecting staterooms, the two ships will also feature â€˜twin balconiesâ€™, which allows passengers to have access to a French balcony with a floor-to-ceiling sliding glass door as well as an actual walk-out balcony with room to seat two.
Both vessels will also have a main lounge, library, wine bar, walking track and an outdoor swimming pool with a swim-up bar.
Suites onboard will include the 170-square-feet panoramic balcony with a deluxe queen sized bed, spacious wardrobe and a panoramic balcony; twin balcony with a deluxe queen sized bed, large window, outside balcony and panoramic balcony; and a royal suite featuring a deluxe queen sized bed, desk with dressing table, outside balcony, panoramic balcony and a floor-to-ceiling mirror.
AmaSerena sails on seven-night itineraries along the Rhine between Amsterdam and Basel.
AmaVista itineraries will range from seven- to- 14-night cruises from Amsterdam to Budapest.
