Majestic Princess made her maiden call in Singapore marking the end of her 28-day voyage from Rome last month.

As 3000 passengers disembarked at the Marina Bay Cruise Centre, another 3000 will embark the ship for a 21-day journey to Shanghai.

“Majestic Princess is the newest, most stylish and most luxurious flagship in our fleet,’’ said Farriek Tawfik, the line’s director of Southeast Asia.

“She is equipped with world-class facilities such as the largest duty-free shopping at sea, Princess luxury beds which are specially designed by a sleep specialist and dinner menus from Michelin-star awarded chefs.’’

The ship specially caters for Asian tastes with a Chopsticks Noodle Bar, Lobster and Dim Sum bar, karaoke suites, ballroom dancing classes and an indoor swimming pool which turns into a nightclub when the sun goes down.

The ship boasts a dramatic over-the-ocean glass walkway extending 28 feet over the edge of the ship.

At night, the ship will showcase Fantastic Journey, the most technologically-advanced, immersive musical at sea.

The ship can accommodate 3560 guests and has 19 decks.

Majestic will make her way to Australia in September next year.
