Carnival Cruise Line is joining the growing fleet offering Asia  cruises.  On the calendar for May 2018, Carnival Spirit’s cruise from Sydney to Singapore calls to Darwin and Bali and will be making her first ever stops at Koh Samui and Phuket in Thailand and Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam.

The ship will spend the night in Ho Chi Minh City which means Aussies get the chance to experience the best of the Vietnamese capital before sailing to Singapore.

Carnival Vice President Australia Jennifer Vandekreeke said she it’s an exciting development for the line visiting two new ports in Asia.

“From Hobart to Ho Chi Minh City, Carnival will be dialling up the fun in 2018-19. We’ve got a record number of options on offer and with cruises from Asia to New Zealand, the Pacific and more short breaks than ever before – there will be something for every fun seeker in this program,” Ms Vandekreeke said.

“We’re thrilled that so many Australians are choosing to holiday with Carnival and that we can offer enticing new destinations to our new and repeat guests.”

Meanwhile, Azamara and Celebrity cruises are offering 2017 Asian Christmas cruises with two hot deals.

On the Celebrity Millennium, guests will visit Vietnam and Taiwan on a roundtrip holiday. The cruise calls at Hanoi, Danang and Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam, Kaohsiung, Hualien and Taipei  in Taiwan.

On the Azamara Journey you’ll be on a 14-night sailing from Singapore to Hong Kong where you will spend nights in Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi as well as calls to Ko Samui,  Hue and Danang.

“A cruise in Asia puts a twist on the traditional Aussie Christmas, making for a totally unforgettable holiday. Imagine a Christmas where not only is everything taken care of onboard – from Christmas dinner and decorations to festive activities – but where you’re also met with spectacular new exotic destinations to explore each day,” said Adam Armstrong, managing director of Azamara Club Cruises and Celebrity Cruises, Australia & NZ.

“Perhaps you’ll taste an Asian-spiced Christmas turkey in Singapore, or buy Frankincense and Myrrh at the spice markets of Abu Dhabi. And because Celebrity and Azamara offer longer stays and overnights in many ports, guests can see cities like Ho Chi Minh and Bangkok lit up with thousands of Christmas lights – an unmissable sight!” said Armstrong.
