From 2021 Carnival Cruise Line will have two dedicated ships sailing year-round from Australia, Carnival Spirit and Carnival Splendor providing myriad itinerary options for cruise-loving Aussies.

From backyard experiences in Australia and New Zealand to cruises through the tropical South Pacific, guests will certainly enjoy their relaxing time aboard a Carnival cruise. If anything, choosing between their unique itineraries will be the hardest part of the holiday!

With 23 ships operating globally, it’s both the largest and most popular cruise line in the world. Carnival is well versed in creating family friendly itineraries and delivering safe cruising experiences that are perfect for all ages.

Carnival Spirit, one of the ships returning to Australian waters in 2021, introduced Aussie’s to the excitement of a Carnival Cruise back in 2012 when she was homeported here. Ever since then she has been showing us how to make the good times roll, featuring the unmistakable Green Thunder waterslide, 16 bars and lounges, restaurants and a special, spacious adults only Serenity area.

Fun in the sun with Carnival Cruise Line

Nearly the length of three footy fields, Carnival Spirit has 12 decks packed full of things to do, see, taste and try. The kids will love dining at Pizza Pirate, Swirls ice cream bar and Sweet Spot, while adults can dig into fresh Mexican at Blueiguana Cantina, or burgers at Guys Burger Joint, all included in your ticket. When she returns to our shores she will be making the Port of Brisbane her new home, giving Queenslanders more opportunity than ever to experience all the fun that Carnival offers.

Further south, Carnival Splendor has recently arrived into her new homeport of Sydney and we can now proudly say that she is the newest and largest ship to call Australia home. She is also packed full of foodie spots and action-packed activities perfect for every member of the family. There’s the Green Lightning waterslide, the spa, the option to relax in the spacious adults only Serenity area or getting stuck into one of 45 possible activities a day. Head to El Morocco Lounge to catch a comedy show, musical performance or a spot of karaoke, or get dressed up for a dining experience at Fahrenheit 555™. Not only is it where you will find the height of elegant dining, but you’ll be dining at the actual apex of the ship! And did we mention that there’s a jazz club, just in case the mood is calling later in the night.
